Agile Groupies

Having the faculty of quick motion... apt or ready to move, nimble

It's been a busy March for many of us - hence no March meeting. How about a lightening talk format for our April meeting? The concept is that everyone can have a chance to talk for 5 minutes on a topic or something they've learned recently and want to share. May be a good way to get a lot of learning in a modest amount of time.
Please reply with your thoughts here - YES or NO on the format, and/or other ideas for meetings that are worth your time and meet your needs!

Meetings are usually 6-7:30 on either a Tuesday or Wednesday evening, somewhere in downtown Ann Arbor.

Hi,

My name is John Paul, and I haven't been able to make it to a meeting yet, but I have become very interested in Agile programming methods. Our firm primarily focuses on Ruby, so many of my techniques are centric to that language, and I would be happy to share some of my experiences. When do you think the next meeting will be?

We usually meet the 3rd week of the month - so that would be the week of April 20. We'd love to have you attend!

YES on trying the format.
I'm not sure whether I'll have something to present yet.

Like Jeff, I like the format, and I'm not sure I'll have something to share (but I'll see what I can come up with).

The lighting talk format is fine by me. I should be at the meeting and might have something to share.
