Love this article, thank you very much. I am on a project that, by all standard measures, is a walking zombie. It died a long time ago, yet both the client and customer continue on -- and will likely get it "done" but at a bloody cost to both sides.

Although there were many issues that led to this, one thing is for certain -- QA was and has been an afterthought in terms of staffing and process throughout and this has caused significant, unnecessary challenges to the team and led to delays, quality problems, and an overall feeling that the product is not potentially shippable at *any* point during the project.

This paper will hopefully help support additional estimating and funding in the sales cycle for future projects when I work with this team again.
